I am going to Nashville next week to watch the Early Times Whisky Reel In a Million contest on Friday and Saturday. Staying at the Opryland Hotel. Thinking about dragging my boat up a couple of days early and fishing around there.

Do any of you know anything about that hotel? Is it boat friendly?

The Opryland Hotel is (I think) the LARGEST hotel in the US. I lived in Nashville for 5 years and spent some time there at meetings. I would say it'll be really hard to have your boat be close to your room. However, I would phone them and see if they can accomodate you someway. Good luck. Priest is a good lake to fish but be careful, it has lots of rocks.

if your up for a little drive the caney fork river at the center hill tail waters if one heck of a spot. I went about two weeks ago fishing the tailwaters with a little rapala crank bait and caught six rainbow trout over fifteen inches. The river also has walleye since its cold water, and ive seen some lunker bass.
