I sent Sam, Trent and Emili's picture into an electronic publication called "The Fishing Wire." It and "The Outdoor Wire" are electronic news services for Outdoor Writers all across the country (and I suppose the world).... basically the Associated Press specifically for the outdoor community. The Fishing Wire includes a "Snapshot of the Week" every week. This week it is Sam Simons and his students, Trent and Emili. Yea Sam. emoApplause

Hey I dont know.....maybe this was posted but, sam's Pic of the 66lber he caught last year made Infishermen, and I recently picked up a copy of the new 2008 Catfish Insider and the 66 pic is in there as well, it's a smaller index pic.......but I was just letting yall know that for some reason people like to put Sam in Magazines....It's either his good looks or all those big cat's he catches.....I would go for the latter of the two.

I have not seen or heard from my pal Sam in a while.  Great to see what he has been up to.  That was an awesome reweard for those kids. I'm sure that Sam will be remembered as "Favorite Teacher"</p>
