I am in the market for one of the two. I have a lowrance lcx 27c. I fish in tn and Alabama. I have never used or seen these two on screen so I have no idea.
Was leaning towards navionics, what's difference between hotmaps, premium, and platinum. Was waiting to spend around $100 so are there that much of a difference between the 3? Also will have to buy 2 to get Alabama.

Fishing hotspots pro is under $100, covers all the lakes I will go to. Only bad part I think is map don't look as detailed as navionics?

What do you got, and what is the pros and cons?

And if anybody has a card for sale shoot me a line. Thanks

One thing if you go with Navionics and you want both TN and Alabama you will have to buy 2 separate cards. The East card covers TN and the south covers Alabama and Georgia, this is for the platinum and premium cards. I'm not sure on the fishing hot spots. The detail on the platinum and premium cards is pretty nice and they also show greater detail on depth increments and contours. Make sure the card you buy is compatible with your unit, some of the cards will only work on the HD units from Humminbird and/or Lowrance.

I have both Navionics Premium and LHSP....Both have their advantages and disadvantages, but if I could only have 1 it would be Navionics

Thanks guys for the info. I just ordered the navionics east premium. Any pointers on the initial setup and operation would. E appreciated.

Are there any cards that have names of the sloughs and areas you are looking at when comparing with paper maps? I had some of the earlier cards that named everything. When on a new body of water it makes finding places quick and easy.</p>
