The City of Dayton TN and Chickamauga Lake will host the National Bass Fishing Trail, Inc. National Championship in June of 2015. The event is the season closing tournament for the 2014 season for NBT and is always held in June of the following year so the juniors participating in the trail can attend. Everyone fishing and qualifying in 2014 will qualify for this tournament. Full information on NBT can be found at NBTbass.com

My Tennessee district is the closest to adults and youth can fish and qualify for this tournament. We also have a new Guntersville district starting in 2014 that will fish out of Waterfront.

This is an adult singles trail and it is also a junior trail. Adults do not have to bring a junior. But those that do are guaranteed to have their kid fish with them. The juniors compete against the other juniors only. Also you are guaranteed to fish from your boat and we do not have a specific boat requirement besides having a working livewell and all Coast Guard rules.

Juniors for us are age 17 and under. They must be 17 or under at the time of joining in that calendar year. We have no minium age and have had 9 year olds win the nationals before.

I will publish my schedule soon so anyone interested in joining up please feel free to contact me.

Schedule is posted in the CFF calendar. This is a great chance for your youth fisherman/fisherwoman to qualify and fish for a national title without having to travel far. As the dad of the current national champ and AOY I promise you there's nothing like watching your kid win this thing.

Also if you are an adult who likes to fish alone you can do that. Bringing a junior to fish is not required. You are guaranteed to fish from your own boat. So if you're a loner on the water we're a good match for you too.
