Our March 6 tournament on Nickajack out of Marion County Park will be an open tourney with no membership required. We'd love for some of you who haven't fished with us before to give us a shot. I'd especially like for anyone with a young person who'd like to try tournament fishing to come out.
NBT is the only national organization with a full juniors' division. Every tournament we host is an adult and a junior tournament at the same time but the kids only compete against the kids. All juniors receive at least a tackle pack no matter how they finish in the tournament.
We will blast off at 7 am Central time and most likely begin the weigh in at 3 pm. Entry fees are $15 for juniors with an optional $5 big bass pot. Adults are $50 with a $5 big bass pot.
Adults who fish just 3 of our tournaments qualify for the district championship at the end of the season. Juniors can qualify by fishing just 2 one day tourneys.
