Anyone looking for an individual tourney Saturday? The TN district of NBT (www.NBTbass.com) is holding an open tourney out of Marion County park at safe daylight. Entry fee is $50 for adults with a $5 big bass option. Entry fee for juniors (17 and under) is $15 with a $5 big bass option. No membership is required for this tourney. You can sign up at the ramp. Just see me. Need more info? Call me, David Lowrie at 931-235-6216.

Sorry I haven't put up the results til now. We had a crowded ramp, crowded lake and tough weather conditions. Thus we had limited fish. There were about 6 tournaments on the lake that day.Somehow the only bite I got all day ended up winning the tournament and big bass. I had a 5.47 largemouth that ended up being worth $322. Jake Davis who blew his motor about a mile from launch and rode the trolling motor all day was the only person to turn in two fish and took second with 4.69. Points leader Brent Sain got the third place check with a 3.41 fish. New member Billy Hoosier got fourth place points with a 2.26 spot. Donnie Story was fifth with a 1.86 fish.

Hunter Ferguson was the only junior to turn in a fish with a 4.68 largemouth. With only four juniors Hunter took home $60 but he also got an All Pro rod courtsey of Jake Davis and myself for the win.

We welcomed new junior member Hunter Layne and he received an new member tackle pack and all juniors received another pack of plastics from Castle's Outdoors in Whitwell.

It was a good turnout in tough conditions.

David.
