Due to the water levels at Woods NBT is moving it's March 21 tournament to Nickajack out of Marion Co Park. This is an individual tournament for adults and an individual tournament for juniors. Entry fee for adults is $50 plus $5 for big bass. Entry fee for Juniors is $15 plus $5 for big bass. This will be another Open tournament so membership in NBT is not required. All juniors who fish will receive tackle packs. The junior winner will also receive an All Pro rod.

NBT is a national organization with a major focus on juniors who fish. You don't have to leave your kid at home to fish a tournament. Check us out at www.NBTbass.com.

For more information about the tourney call me at 931-235-6216 or email me at [email protected].

Just a reminder that NBT will be on Nickajack this Saturday and the schedule on the right is wrong. Woods has not had the water levels brought back up and it is not safe at most ramps. So we'll hit Nickajack out of Marion County Park Saturday. All juniors who fish will receive tackle prizes no matter how they finish in the tourney. This is an open tourney so we'll gladly take members and non members alike. If you need more info just give me a call.

Again the schedule on the right is wrong. We are on Nickajack instead of Woods. Pretty lucky we made the decision as Woods now has an Ecoli problem as well as low lake levels. Call me if you have any questions. 931-235-6216. David.

We had 13 adults and 7 juniors fish today. Also had 2 new adults and 2 new juniors join up today. Welcome to new Juniors Robbie Dykes and Dalton Summers. Welcome new adults Donald Dykes a dn Ty Hickerson. Dalton I've got to send you another tackle pack as I forgot to give it to you when you joined after the tourney.

Junior Hunter Ferguson won today with 5 fish for 12.81 pounds. He also had big fish of 4.29. He took home $52 for first place, $35 for big fish, and All Pro rod and a Secret Weapon spinner bait. Austin Crisp was second with 2 fish for 6.33. He got $18. My favorite fisherman Hank Lowrie was third with 4.66 but wasn't in the money. All juniors got a tackle pack from Castle's Outdoors in Whitwell.

On the adult side Johnny Hickerson was first with 5 fish for 13.91 and he took home $293. Robert Knobb was second with 5 for 12.52 and he got $142. I came in third with 4 fish for 10.70 and took home $59. Had the pig I broke off early stayed on I might have got my second in a row. Jake Davis took home $65 for the big bass with his 4.96 largemouth.

We had a nice crowd at the weigh-in and I just want to thank everyone for coming out. It was another good day for NBT's Tennessee district. Special thanks to Jake Davis of Secret Weapon lures and All Pro rods for all he does to help me and the district.

David.
