Thought I'd give you all an update since we have 2 tournaments left. On the adult side leading the points is Gene Cantrell with 780 points, Johnny Hickerson is second with 760. Brent Sain is third with 630. Josh Watts is fourth with 624. Trevor Prince is fifth with 482. On the junior side the top three are tight. Hunter Ferguson leads with 790. Dakota Cantrell and Hank Lowrie are tied for second with 788. Dalton Summers is fourth with 488 and Alex Prince is fifth with 392.
The adults who are qualified now for the district are Gene Cantrell, Johnny Hickerson, Brent Sain, Josh Watts, Trevor Prince, Casey Hitchcock, Robert Damron and me. Juniors who are qualified are Hunter Ferguson, Dakota Cantrell, Hank Lowrie, Dalton Summers, Alex Prince, Hunter Watts, Noel Damron, Hunter Layne and Logan Stewart. All of the above are are also qualified for the Bonus Bucks. That's $500 for first place for the adults, $250 for second for the adults, $200 for first place for the juniors and $100 for second for the juniors on top of the tournament entry fees. Also remember juniors that 100% of your fees stay in the tournament. I do not have to send $5 of the $15 per day to the national escrow for the 2-day so the payout is a little better for you guys.
Adults needing 2 more tourneys are Jerry and Terry Carlisle, Ty Hickerson, Bud McElheny, Ben Brooks, Shawn Cordell, Jake Davis, John Elliott and Thomas Wilson. Adults needing 1 are Corey Carlisle, Mark Thomas, Rick Sanson, Billy Hoosier and Jerry Hancock. Junior Chad Cordell can fish one more tourney and get qualified.
Remember the 2 day district tourney has been moved to Tims Ford out of Devils Step but will be on the same dates October 23-24.
Our last two one days are Sept. 11 at the Blue Bridge in South Pittsburg and October 2, on Normandy out of Barton Springs.
