I'm looking for a used, or not, rocking chair. Something maybe with a dark stain to it..or not. I can strip it if I need too. I'm willing to trade off music equiptment (at a fair trade $)

We want to add a nice rocking chair to our living room after Christmas and get rid of a few pieces of furniture that are just old and in the way anymore. Wife says house is too cluttered and we need to make space. ( I figure making space will open up more room for more junk! :) )

So..if any of you know where I can get one..cheap! Please let me know. She would be happy to get this as her gift on Christmas morning.

-Thanks!

"House is too cluttered' is female speak for let's make room for new furniture.

Just want to thank Dragfish for the medium rocking chair..that will go in our sitting room.

Thanks to DogHouse for the full size one...going in out living room.

Billie I recieved an estate that has an antique cherry wood rocking chair. This chair is in excellent condition and a beautiful addition to a room. Just needs to wipe the dust off and maybe some light polish of the wood. Problem is, I do not know what it is worth nor how much I need to ask for it. I was planning to sell a house full of old furnature as soon as I could get it appraised. I will do some research and may get back to you if you are interested.I will take pics and post then later. It is at my other house.
