Madison was diagnosed with neuroblastoma on July 11, 2005. Since then she has received numerous scans and tests all to determine where the cancer is located. They have determined that it is a mass in her abdomen and the cancer is also in her bones and bone marrow (which is common with this cancer). On July 17 she was admitted to the hospital for pain management. They gave her morphine to decrease her pain. On July 20, she began her first of six rounds of chemo.

Maddie was recently in a study and the results were not what they were hoping. What I would like to do for them is have a CFF benefit raffle. What I am asking is the guys that build rods, make lures etc. to donate item(s) that can be raffled or auctioned with all proceeds going to Maddie's fund. If you work for a business that would be willing to donate an item, that could be raffled too. Doesnt have to be fishing related. Gift cards for restaurants etc. always seem to work. Once I have a list of items donated, I will post them all (with pictures of course) and instructions on how to buy your raffle tickets. I will to have the drawing for items at a CFF weighin. LOL... heck, even if you dont want to participate in the raffle, donations will be gladly accepted.

I really thought as much as we have done to help others outside the forum, it would be nice to help one of our own.

I know the hubby is going to build one rod to be raffled and I and going to try to get lures out of him too. I think we can pull together a great benefit, have fun with it and help a fellow CFF member at the same time.

Look forward hearing from some of your soon.
