I’ve got an 05 150 Optimax and when get to about 4800 rpm’s or 53 mph a single alarm will go off until I let off throttle, I have changed out water pump, oil reserve, TPS switch. Any thoughts? Thanks
What is your water pressure when the alarm sounds? How strong is your discharge stream? Could be compressor overheat. There is a strainer going to the compressor that can get clogged. Only way to know what the alarm is for sure is to get the code(s) read.
i had a low voltage alarm that was going off when i got to 3500rpm or trimmed up or down while running, turned out to be alternator, check the continuity of the fuseable link and the voltage coming out of the alternator(should be about 25v) if the TPX doesnt fix it
Alternator is good, popit value good, cleaned compressor strainer, the alarm staying on above 4500 rpm and it will not going into fall safe if you continue to run it above 4500 rpm. We are going to change out some sensors to see it that will work. Totally lost if sensors doesn’t fix it.
