I'm going crappie fishing in the morning and I haven't been on the lake in a few months can anybody give me some tips on depth ?

Sonar is your best friend when scouting areas. Most of the waters I fish for any species usually hold fish in 15' or less. Hopefully the water you're fishing isn't miles long or wide, though seasonality is a big factor when it comes to location and the bite (IE pre-spawn, ice out, prey fish migrations, etc.).

Best advice is when you see 20 boats in each creek just get in line and turn the trolling motor on, throw out the plainer boards and that is it. There was one guy two days ago that was catching one about every minute. Guys I talked to said they had caught 80-100 but they didn't have much size.

I caught some bigguns while bass fishing in Dallas Bay last week in about 9 FOW. They were out in front of that marked swimming area across the bay from CFP swimming area. Whatever that camping area is called. I think it is some kind of private campground.
