A friend of mine has a 17 foot tracker aluminum boat with a cracked transom. The crack is on the interior of the transom "sandwich" and is about 1/4 of and inch wide. He needs someone in the Chatt area that can fix this. He thinks the wood inside the transom is rotted and will need to be replaced and the crack welded. Who can do this and what kind of charges can be expected? Thanks in advance for the help!!
