I was fishing on Sunday and and a problem developed with my boat. Ran downriver and everything was fine, the boat came out of the hole like it should and had plenty of power. Fished for a littlewhile and decided to try another spot. Cranked up and hit the gas and about 4000 rpm it seemed like something was slipping, it would rev really high and never get on plane. I had a run of a couple of miles back to the dock. As time went on it got worse and started slipping at lower and lower RPM's and was doing this at around 3000 RPM's by the time I got back to the dock. As far as I know I dod not hit anything, but there is a good dent in the prop. I don't know if this was there before I bought the boat or not. I pulled the prop this afternoon and everything looks ok inside the prop as far as I can tell. I dont see any fluid leaks anywhere. Could this be a transmission problem?

Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated.

It is a 15ft Astroglass with an Evinrude 110hp motor.

Your prop is thrown, I ahd the same thing happen, the hub inside of the prop is slipping and it causing you to not "grab traction"

Performance Propeller in Daisy can fix you up.

First prop I had spin the hub I was running 60 down the water then all of a sudden the RPM's went sky High (didn't know a 150 inline could turn that many!!!!) would move in gear idling but as soon as the rpm's went over 2K would start slipping. Had to idle from Chester Frost to Lake site. Thank God wasn't far!!! Did you get it fixed?

I have not got it fixed yet, being christmas and all money is sort of tight. As soon as the holidays are over and extra money becomes available I will. This is killin' me not being able to get out when I want to!!
