I PURCHASED MY FIRST BASS BOAT THIS SUMMER(FINALLY). ITS HAS A 93 200 EVENRUDE ON IT AND IT IS HARD TO START WHEN U FIRST PUT IT IN THE WATER. SOME TIMES I HAVE TO SPEND 5 MINS WITH IT BEFOR I CAN GET IT TO START AND STAY RUNNING . IT WILL RUN FOR A COUPLE OF SEC. AND STOP 3 OR 4 TIMES.THEN WHEN IT GETS READY IT WILL FIRE WITH ME GIVING IT GAS U HAVE TO LET IT WARM UP FOR 3 OR 4 MINS AND THEN ITS GOOD. FOR THE REST OF THE DAY IT WILL FIRE AN RUN AS SOON AS U TURN THE KEY. IT ONLY HAS THIS PROBLEM IF I GO A WEK OR TWO BETWEEN TRIPS. WAS JUST WANDERING IF THERE WAS SOME KIND OF CHEMICAL I COULD RUN THROUGH IT OR SOME THING SIMPLE THAT I CAN DO TO FIX THIS. VETERAN BOATER ADVISE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Too bad Wretchin disappeared from the forum-he'd fix you right up! Hope you get some help, try sending him a PM-good luck!

First question....are you priming the system with the bulb before you try to start it? Second question...do you know how to prime the system with the key? Many people are unaware of how to properly use the choke function. Once you understand it you can keep them running no matter how hard they are to start.

As always feel free to call me.

P.S. Sorry I haven't been around much!
