Any of you folks use these mail in DVD rental services? .... which one do you prefer and why?

Thx,
TAz

i tried netflix and they did a good job sending the movies while we had the free trial then when we started paying we were lucky to get 1 movie in a week and they came out of chattanooga.it seemed like they didnt care after we paid them.had it cancelled.havent tried blockbuster.

I use Blockbuster, it's great. Everything is usually here quickly and if I want to go to a store and trade it for another movie, then I can do that too, plus I get 2 free rentals from the blockbuster store every month.

We just started with Netflix, we receive 3 at a time, when they get the first 3 back they are supposed to send the next 3 choices out to us, pretty neat, no postage to pay either way and we hope it works out. No late fees, keep em as long as you want.

we do the blockbuster in store as we have to go by blockbuster on the way home Just swap them out whenever we want to no waiting on the mail.

I'm with JDK. I use those DVD vending machines. I really don't rent alot of movies and sometimes they don't have the movie you want but $1 at the vending machine beats the $6 blockbuster charges!

My wife signed up for netflix, and the best thing they got is the instant movies on your PC. Lots of documentaries and other good stuff you can watch and watch and watch. $8 month, cant beat that. Me I just talk to you all on this forum in my free time.

$1.00 rental at wal-mart in the front of the store out of that machine. Can't beat the price and they have the current releases. emoAngel Jmax

We have had Netflix for a couple years, and did a Gift subscrition for my mother for Christmas. We love it. Since Chattanooga has a shipping center, you get return movies in a day. Blockbuster ticks me off because they bad-mouthed NF when they started, then jumped on the bandwagon when they realized the industry was changing. They will never get a dime out of me. emoGeezer

I should get Netflix... i use Comcast On-Demand, but that gets expensive after a while. Anyone notice that a Netflix banner has started popping up?

Wow... has nothing to do with fishing.

Net flix we have used them for about two and half years now, love it if we dont get our movie they get on the ball and get it to us right away, we also love the ready to view movies online free to customers. hope this helps Taz.
Take care bro:

James

If you have an xbox 360 you can link your xbox with netflix and alot of the movies on there are direct connect and you just put it on a queue list and it play straight threw your xbox right then no wait time its cool

I've got netflix....pretty good service when I started (about getting new releases)...now it's a 2 month lag time. I'm thinking about trying BB for comparison.
