hey guys im thanking about a new bass boat this year
i have a 17ft Stratous now im wanting a 20 to 21 ft what do yall thank are some of the best buys out there?

Fisn n Fun had an '08 200 Pro XL last time I was there. Great looking boat and I think the price was very good too. The Nitro Z series boats are very nice too and you get alot of boat and features when you compare the prices of other boats.

If I were in the same position as you I would look at a Phoenix. If you are interested in a Nitro checkout www.candomarine.com. They have some great deals. Stratos doesn't seem to have their act together with their new ownership situation or I would also recommend them as I've had a couple. Still a lot of uncertainty with them though.

call Tammy or Eddie at Boats and Motors of Dalton, Eddie sells and fishes the Phoenix boat, he had a nice blue and silver demo boat with a E-tec, Phoenix has a lot of nice options, like the removable passenger console, and the lazy susan tackle storage as well as the net holder in the floor.

I want a 21ft Phoenix so bad I can't stand it. It has by far and away the best features of any bass boat on the market.

Phoenix definitely have every option a fisherman would need. I prefer Tritons, but that's just me. That blue and silver phoenix is beautiful , saw it at a tournament.

I own a Triton and I like it. I have also fished out of several other Tritons, and I have liked them all. The question is what are you looking for in a boat...Good ride, speed, holeshot, lightweight, accessories, new/used, and price...all these things need to be considered when making your decision. There are a bunch of boats out there right now, and a bunch of them can be bought at reduced prices due to the economy. Also, like Triton most boat manufacturers make a fancy version and a more economical version of their boats like Triton's X(fancy) and Explorer(economical). I actually think they have changed the name of these this year, so they will most likely be called something else now.

I really like the new Champions the more I look at their design, but the Phoenix boats seem to be nice rides too. I will say that the first encounter that I had with one of them was at the Nickajack boat races this last year. There was a Phoenix dealer there, and I was not impressed by the boat. It seemed like it was not finished yet.

I would love a Phoenix (Dalton) They just rock. You should see the removeable rider console. God made this boat for me.

If you've never rode in a pheonix then you need to.. I rode in one at lake eufaula with a 250 pro xs on it. They weigh like 1800lbs but they run like a 1300lb boat..We got in a 3-4ft chop an it took it VERY well.. It suprised me how good it took the waves! The morning we took off i figured itd run in the high to low 60"s.. Well after we ran about a quarter mile i looked over an we were running 76 (GPS) It rode like a cadallic an fished like one to!
