Pretty cool. Wonder how the big dog would fare in a 3 foot deep Georgia red clay mud hole? emoBigsmile

Just wondering about the people's income that can make a robot walk like me after a couple of cocktails. Must hate doing that for a living.Four (cocktails) and I would try to carry that load up an ice covered, concrete block infested hill.

That's pretty amazing, but I hear you loud and clear Mallard... Those guys have WAY Too much time on their hands. My Lab is just fine the way he is... and even with gas, he's quieter than this thing. I thought it was pretty far from older robots I've seen when you saw the guy kick it and when it was on the ice. Amazing they've figured it out.

I think that robot dog sounds like a hacked off bee, and looks like a fly experiment really gone wrong. IMO the DARPA management should all be put in strait jackets for going beyond the cocktail napkin design.
