So my HP camera finally bit the dust and the wifey buys me a new Sony Cyber-Shot. So I install it on my computer and start playing around with it. I found that it came with a way to map out places you have taken photos. So I already had a bunch of fishing pictures on there and decided to start mapping them. You can either look at a map view or satellite view. I thought it was cool because you can place a photo of a fish that you caught onto the map exactly where you caught it. They sell a GPS product to go with it that automatically puts the info in but I haven't bought it yet. Just thought I would pass this along to all of you that keep fishing logs, etc for future reference. So that you could look and see where you caught you fish. The only thing it that the map view isn't topo where water is. It uses the same views as the google link. I just thought it was cool that I could put my photos on a map where I caught them and then enter the info about what I caught them with, time of year, etc. Maybe someone will find this interesting I know I did but then again it was 1 o' clock in the morning.
