</p>Ramfish - 3/25/2009 11:03 AM possum- I would recommend a fly casting lesson if you have never casted a fly rod. In order to catch those macs you are going to need to be able to cast atleast fifty to sixty feet. But once you get one on you will have the ride of a life time. I am a guide for Choo Choo fly and tackle and we are putting on free wednesday night casting clinics, so if you are interested give us a call.
If your goin to florida, Id highly recommend going for some redfish back in the bays. Its a blast on the fly!Possum - 3/25/2009 10:14 AM
I bought a TFO Signiture 8 wt. rod, and a Batteneck, MidArbor reel in Jan. Now that the weather is better, I am going to try and learn how to use it. I am thinking Easter Weekend I may go to Florida and try to catch a Spanish Mac on it. I have found the Fish down there< just need to learn how to use the outfit. How long does it take to get to where, you are good enough to fish with one? Generally speaking of course.
