New Ga state record blue cat "maybee"

Very strange. Everything I have read says blue cats cant live long in a pond. It may have been placed there at some point from the good ol' TN river? You never know.
 
Spur they will live in a pond if it is deep enough to have cooler water but they won't reproduce. At least that is what the fish breeder that sold me my cats told me.
 
Here is my question , if you catch a potential state record or anykind of record for that matter, some were elce and transplant it to your area and re-catch it after a given time " months or even years" does that qualify for a record??? emoScratch emoScratch

I think its more of an ethcal question PJ. If the fish is native, I dont guess anyone will question it. I know that some times a lied-detector test is administered for records, not sure if its by state mandates, or just case by case though.
