hope you have deep pockets my friend ... that will not be cheap .. the guy on Hixson Pike is about your only choice, will be much cheaper to have a good boat detailer buff and wax for you , check with the marinas for a recommendation on a good boat detailer

If it costs that much, it just won't happen. The boat is 24 years old, so I would never get the money back out of it when I do upgrade.

WELL YOU KNOW HOW BAD MY BOAT WAS . i SAY WAS BECAUSE I HAVE BUFFED IT WITH A GOOD BUFFING COMPOUND AND A GOOD TEFLON WAX. IT TURNED OUT REAL NICE.AM GUNNA DO THE RUB RAILS WITH A RUBBER NEW COMPOUND WHEN IT WARMS UP

A good clear coat is what you need Chris , No one in town is doing gel , Nam Lee on Hixon pike can do it, but the price will be about 4 times higher than the clear. The better the clear you buy the more U/V protection you get , that is the key. A cheap clear coat will last a year or so. A good clear about 8years. if you plan on having it done don't wax it will just have to be removed B-4 the clear can be applied .
Depending on how much of the sanding and masking you want to do yourself , I can get you the clear and have a friend of mine shoot it for you for about $300.00 and a fishing trip.emoSmile

I thought about the suggesting clear coat, but it is no where as tuff a gel coat, you will have to be more careful with clear coat

I can tell you, I don't trust myself to sand a block of wood. Not a handy man at all. I would be willing let someone do the sanding and clear coat as long as it's a reasonable price. Just would like the fade look to go away since I am having to keep this boat a little longer.

I had a buddy that sent his to a guy in cleveland due to fading. When he got it back the boat looked like it had rolled off the showroom floor for about 300 bucks.

im not sure where your located but there is a guy in rock springs ga that does this sand/water blasting that brings out the sparkles.....i know im not explaining it well but my uncle want a gel coat put on and James(the guy that does this) suggested this because it would last longer and be cheaper... he rubs down very little on the boat just enough to bring out the sparkle. i know my uncle had his whole boat done and all new carpet for like $800
