Hello all!! Just moved here from the Chicago area for a number of reasons, one of which was the Bass fishing. Been unpacking and have not had time to hit the water yet. Soon! Which ramps are best on the Chattanooga side of the lake?

Chick Dam is a good ramp, Chester Frost, and Harrison Bay are my favorites. Wolftever isn't bad, but I wouldnt leave my truck there if I went out over night. Glad you made it to the area!! emoWelcome

Thanks for the info. Think I will try Harrison Bay. The state parks always seem to be pretty good. I have a 20 ft bass boat.
What BFL divisions do the guys from around here usually fish? Only had one to pick from up north.

What part of Chicago? I was born in Oak Park and still have plenty of family up there.

Do you have kids....that fish? If so take a look at www.NBTbass.com and give me a holler.

Welcome to the south!

David.

Northwest. Mt. Prospect, Rolling Meadows. Kids are grown and around the country. I am a BFL fan but will check out the NBT.
Thanks for the welcome

BFL has a Choo Choo division that a lot of folks fish around here, as well as Volunteer division. Jerry (Pointer78) fishes a lot of BFL events and Im sure he could point you in the right direction

Glad to have you. The Chickamauga Dam ramp s my favorite to use because its nice and wide, not steep, and very well lit when you come in late.

chick dam is the best I think...I use it but lately have moved up into lake fishing si I use wolf tevern...Never had anything stolen yet or any damages. They all get busy on the weekends though. In/out best at dam.

Guys around here also fish the Bama Division. Two from Cleveland are 1 2 in the points standings. Lived on the north side, about a mile from Skokie, for a while. Chicago is my favorite big city. How was the fishing up there?

Lake Geneva is very good once you learn how to fish it and my favorite was tyhe Mississippi River in Wisconsin/Iowa/Minnesota. My buddy won a tournament on Geneva with 6 smallies just under 30 pounds. Usually takes 18 pounds plus for 5 fish to win on the river.
