hello all hope everyone is doing well and catching a lot. A little about me I am 29y/o live in Marion County, I fish nickajack from the bank primarily as cant afford a boat. Mostly fish for the cats and have hardly no expreince with lures or any thing other than live bream as bait. I just love to be outdoors and enjoy natures surrondings, take care and feel free to drop me line --Og

emoWelcome However just to let you know it ain't May yet. I think you may be ahead on the date a little. emoBigsmile Jmax

Welcome, you'll love this site. I may well be wrong, but I think using bream as bait might be illegal. It was at one time. If it is, look out for officer Mike Bailey! He told me he would only put his own mother in jail if she was doing something illegal.

Did I happen to see you below the dam Saturday throwing a blue casting net from the fishing pier?

and thanks for the date corrections emoBang dont know what happened there lol emoScratch

They kind of fit your discription. But I had noting to do with anything about a date change.

emoWelcome

Glad to have you. Im a boater myself (recently new boater), but fished from the bank forever and still will - I love it.
Keep in mind boats are not always as expensive as you might think. Get on craigslist and search for boats. You'll find them from $500 all the way up to...well as high as you can imagine. I waited for years for my first boat and saved for it. However, I found that I didnt have to go spend thousands...if I wanted to look the best on the water I need to fork it over. Check it out. Take care.
