Good afternoon All,

My name is Rich, and I live in Cleveland TN. I was recommended here by Dwayne, the owner operator of Smokey Mountain Tackle Bait shop. I was originally born and raised in the Branson Missouri area ..... Joined the Army at age 17 ..... and retired from the Army 24+ years later.

My grandfather took me fishing at the early age of about 5-6 .... fishing for catfish with cane poles .... and I have been hooked on fishing hook, line, and sinker ever since. (pun intended)

I met the love of my life 5 years ago ... married her and moved to her hometown of Cleveland

I have never been taught to bass fish ..... nor did I have any inyerest in bass fishing untill I bought my first boat 2 years ago ..... I'm learning .... the process has been slow .... but I'm learning and loving it. I enjoy crappie fishing only because its a good tasting fish ..... buy hooked on bass fishing now. Caught my first 5 pounder just this past week. I look forward to learning here and exchanging ideas and E-Mails ....., and getting to know the members of CFF.

Welcome to the forum! Many of us try to share information on our techniques, baits, etc. in our fishing reports. It doesn't make any difference whether you fish for catfish, drum, buffalo, or even those trash fish (bass) emoBigsmile emoBigsmile , we love to hear your reports on successes and failures. I imagine that you'll be able to shorten your learning curve a good deal here. If you ask your questions, many folks are willing to help you out, so again, welcome to the CFF!!!
