i recenyly bought a shimano curado. several of the fellas on the forum suggested the citra but tne nice boys at PRO LURES OF DALTON did not have a left handed one so i got the curado instead. i had to try it out even though the wind was crazy today. anyway i absolutely love it. nice and smooth. casts great. i think i will have to get another one. or try out the citra. i'm wondering if it will help me catch more fishemoTongue a guy named louie that works at PRO LURES OF DALTON helped me through the whole process of making my mind up as to what rod and reel i need. louie is a super guy. took his time and explained everything to me. i really appreciate nice people like this young fella. GOD BLESS

I'm glad you like the Curado, I'll always help w/ any questions you have. The Citica is a great reel, I'm sure you'll like it as well. Shimano no doubt has the best line of reels on the market. I fish a minimum of 150 days per year and I've never have reel problems, they're the best.

Glad to help, let me know if there's anything else we can do.

I got a Citica from Pro Lures, the 100DSV, and I put it through the paces today. I had put a Smithwick Rogue on it, and got 5 fish on it, and it never skipped a beat. The only problem that occured was trying to cast it into the wind, but after I set the variable brakes, on the left side of the reel, it was smooth as silk.

The Curados have always been a dependable reel, and it seems that the Citica will be as well.

Louie is a good guy. Most times I go in, he's out fishing. Lucky fellow. ;)
