New Spotted Bass Record Confirmed

DNA analysis has confirmed that Shane McKee's 6-pound, 15-ounce spot from Parksville Lake is a "100% Alabama spotted bass."

Correct... there have been several cases where northern spots have hybridized with largemouth in the Tennessee River. But to my knowledge, that haven't ever found that to be the case (so far) in the Parksville/Ocoee drainage.
