New to CFF, but not fishing 3/9/2007

Hello to all. I spent many quality hours on the Chick in the '80s w/ my Dad, back when they killed off all of the millfoil and the bass were skinny and sickly. I bought a used bass rig in August, and now I'm back on the water after 20 years! I am impressed with what you guys have done to improve the fishery over the last 20 years, and have caught more 2+ lb fish since August than I ever did all those years ago.

As soon as I follow you guys around (you won't see me, haha) and can cull to a 20 lb livewell I'll hit the Tx trail!

Anyway, I'm attaching a photo that should get me in the HOF right off the bat! I got tired of chasing bass around (I know where they're NOT) and the boat is in the shop, so I went down to WT Creek crappie fishing WED with my ultra-light, 4 lb test, a little crappie hook and some minnows...OOPS! 3 lb LM (attaching a photo, not sure how or if it'll show up). A 3 lb LM on 4 lb test and a crappie hook should at least get me an honorable mention, no?

Welcome back. I can relate to the absense from Chickamauga and the loss of the weeds.

That is when fishing gets real interesting when you hook into a lunker when you are fishing for Pee-Wee.
