I was just curious as to where the grass was on the lake? Chickamauga that is.

Thats all I can tell you, as I have not looked for the grass yet myself. I like the fish with wiskars at the moment, so I dont need the grass, but I have no doubt you will get all the info you need here!</p>

I would definitely look the the upper end of Chickamauga.

there are several nice grass beds above the hwy 60 bridge around the hiwassee river mouth.

emoWelcome to the forum from the Drumking. I can't help you too much on the grass beds as I crappie fish mostly and don't fish the grass. Maybe that's why I don't catch more. emoAngler Look for shallow water just off the main river channel would be my guess. emoScratch emoGeezer

There's not much grass in the lower end of Chick, but some of the sloughs have small grassy areas.</p>

there is lots of grass north of chick dam. around the around the islands and in shallow water. check around the nuclear plant in the back of pockets and sloughs. the back of soddy creek is loaded with grass.
