Hello everyone, I hope everyone is well ! I finally got a kayak that I have desperately wanted for sometime now. I have been fishing on it for about a month. The only places I have been are around the Harrison Bay Area, and Skull Island. Would anyone else have any suggestions on a place that great for kayak fishing to put in at?

Have a Blessed day !

snowhill bridge on wolftever creek great back waters growed up fishing it caught a ton of bass in there.

I like Sale Creek put in on May RD at the campground. Also you can put in at the small pond on Hwy 27 and Thrasher pike. There is a small break in the hedge Right before the exit ramp. Just park in the grass right by the sign before the exit ramp and you will see The trail leading to the water

Blythe Ferry. You can paddle the DU project and all the way around Hiwasee Island. Not much traffic up there.

North Chickamauga Creek at Thrasher Pike bridge. About a half mile in there are trout and then as water deepens you will find bass, bluegill, etc... Tight space so shorter fly rod...

If water is too low you can wade it for quite a ways.

If you want some real solitude for some very productive Fly fishing from your Yak. Go to the Soddy side of the River and travel north on North Hixon Pike until you come to Armstrong Road and Bridge. Cross the bridge to a Public boat ramp at the bridge. Back across the creek you will see a Culvert under N. Hixon Pike you may paddle through. It opens up into a good size body of water. You will only get company from boats small enough to float through the Only way in and out.
