</div><div>Drove down to Chattsworth the other day and let the Father in Law play negotiator with the seller on a 1995 Layton 1850 Camper. The price got right and we pulled away with it.</div><div></div><div>Parked it by the garage and went to checking it out good. Fridge seems to work on electric and gas, furnace works great, air works great...water heater is having some issues but I have a brand new system sitting in the garage thanks to a good friend! Its gas/electric also. Stove top works but oven isn't lighting. The pilot will but the burner itself wont. Could be a clogged orifice. I'm not too worried about that right now. I have a stove top oven if biscuits need to be made. </div>
No water leaks at all. Toilet and shower work just fine. (Diane took a shower in it last night) Ha! Theres plenty of storage in this unit too!</p>
Outside is in pretty good shape...I managed to work most the black streaks out yesterday. Some caulking needs to be re done but nothing leaks. May need a new air unit cover. One side is busted...then again I could wire and fiberglass that. Cant see it where I stand. LOL.</p>
Didn't come with an awning but my dad had a 10x0 just sitting in a building. We rolled it out and it looks brand new. Slide it on and set it up...perfect. Now were just about ready!</p>
I guess Diane's Mom is gonna give us all sorts of pots and pans..this and thats to have it ready to pull out and camp somewhere so we're pretty excited to get this thing loaded up. I've been itching to get one just to get us out and away from here without paying for hotels and crap. We used to camp alot with tents and a popup but I guess now that were a bit older, having all the comforts of home make this camper perfect. Not to mention....we broke it in last night. </p>
