New tournaments

I am thinking of having one tournament this spring on Chickamauga and one this fall on Nickajack.

$250 ENTRY FEE (TEAM TOURNAMENT FORMAT)
100% PAYBACK
1ST-$5000
2ND-$2000
3RD-$1000
4TH-$700
5TH-$500
6TH-$450
7TH-$350
BASED ON 40 BOAT FIELD

So what does everyone think?

I complain about paying over $100.00....now you are talking about $250.00. emoEek Too rich for me, I think you will really limit the field on who and how many you get to fish it. The poor man like me would need to see fishinjunkie for a loan to enter. Not to mention I will be sleeping on the coach the rest of the week,...maybe the month.emoDoh Jmax

Fishing for $5000, I'm in..... Sign Bill and I up first.... Damon you'll get 40 boats easy this spring, thats a good payout down the board as well.

I guess my thinking is that I love hosting bass tournaments but the last couple of ventures where in the same category as the majority of small tournaments.There are probably over 100 clubs and tournament trails with an entry fee of less than $100 a boat(whats posted on here and all the dogfights and 15 boat clubs in the Tennessee valley) .There are the individule tx's like Bassmaster weekend series and BFL's that have a $200 entry and do a great job for individules.The $250 entry fee is more but look at the payout and ask yourself"I am only fishing agianst 40 boats for 5 grand and if I get 2nd I still win 2 grand". Its just a thought out of the box.

man that is alot of money to put up but it is a great payout.but I think you will get more than 40 boats.think you would have a great turn out and you always put on a great tx.I would love to fish it but just cant put that much money in it.maybe if someone would sponser me i could.. emoWorthy emoPlease
