It's amazing what you can learn sitting around a campfire with a bunch of fishing dudes.

Use Backwoods Off: spray on cloudy headlight lens, then wipe off. It's just that easy... :)

If you watch a videos about it on utube it does work but they say the deet can mess up your clear coat on the cars finish so make sure you don't get any on it I did it and it works i was just careful
 
Do not do that, it will look good for a week or two then once the UV rays hit it for a while it will destroy the plastic. Read up on it

The cloudiness is only on the surface and can be removed by wet sanding and a coat or two of clear coat then they are good for life. The chemicals in the bug repellent will breakdown the plastic real quick in the sun
