Well let me start by saying that I am sorry for the mix up on the Wednesday night deal.
Okay, what we have came up with is we are going to do the Dogfights on Tuesday night out of Harrison Bay. These dogfights will be ran by members of Southern Anglers Bass Trail and they will be done right. As I said before we are doing this as a fund raiser and we will be making $5 a boat. I just want to be upfront about the money thing.
Details:
When: Every Tuesday night from 6:00 PM - 9:15 PM
Where: Harrison Bay State Park
How much: 25$ per boat (2persons per boat) pr $15 for single no partner (1 person in a boat) There will also be an optional $5 big fish pot.
Contacts: I (Rob Forgey) will be at the ramp early. I am the bald fat guy. Trust me you will know when you see me. Vickie Hattfield, Jeff Todd will also be helping. Any Southern angler member will point you in the right way, but we will be easy to find.
We hope to pay out multiple spots depending on the turnout. For right now it will pay 1 place for less than 10 boats, 2 places for 10 or more, and 3 places for 20+. We will eventualy break it down further once we get going good.
This tournament is sponsored by Southern Anglers, but it has no affiliation to the Southern Anglers Trail. You will have to sign a waiver at your first tournament just stating that you are responsible for your own actions. Please come help us raise some money and come have fun. We want everyone to come! There are no restrictions on who is allowed to fish so come one come all.

Its about time someone brought back a 5 fish dogfight. Is it going to be open to everyone or be like the girls from georgia?

Everyone welcome! I too like the five fish great idea!

The times are staggered a little bit to help with congestion. Ours are 6:00 to 9:15pm

That is correct. We use it to supliment our Classic. We have big pay outs in the classic and always pay a lot of places.

What does the fundraiser fund?
correct me if I'm wrong but
It funds the Southern Angler classic.

If its not affiliated with the southern anglers why is 5 bucks a boat going to the southern anglers classic?

It's NOT affiliated with Southern Anglers TRAIL which is the normal scheduled tx's for this trail. no points or membership fee will apply.
It is an OPEN tx for anyone NOT just sabt members. Hope this helps

if im going to "donate" $5 its going to be to a charity. some needy kids or something. sorry guys, im not funding your classic's bigger payouts. come on guys!!
