The Tuesday night dogfights formally ran by Jmax will continue this year and be ran by myself, Haden Lamb, and Nick Pratt. We will begin the new season next tuesday (4-3-12). The following information will apply:

*3 fish limit: 18'' on smallmouth (1 per person), 15" on largemouth and spotted bass
*Entry Fee: $20 per boat + $5 big fish pot
*$10 per person new membership fee (one time fee)
*100% payback with 1 place being payed for every 7 boats
*Time: 6:30pm-9:30pm (Everyone must be at the sign-up boat on the gas dock by 6:25 to be eligible to fish)
*Everyone must be inside the no wake buoys by 9:30pm in order to not be disqaulified (no late penalties or exceptions)
*All state regulations will apply
*Anyone caught breaking state regulations will be banned from fishing the dogfights for the year
*No dead fish will be weighed
*There will be a season end classic in the fall that will be held on a saturday morning from safelight until 2:00pm.
*The date for the classic has yet to be determined. The new membership fees will be applied towards the classic.
*Entry fee for the classic will be double ($40 per boat plus $10 big fish pot)
*Every individual who participates in the classic must have fished 3 season tournaments.

When we got word that the Tuesday night dogfights would no longer be held out of Harrison Bay, we decided to continue the tradition for everyone to enjoy. We hope to have great participation and a big turnout for the classic at the end of the season. Reply to this thread or send PM for any questions regarding these events. We look forward to seeing you guys next tuesday (4-3-12).

Cant wait to fish some of these tournaments! Thanks for stepping up and having everyone a tournament to fish on tuesday nite!

Thats great! With two sons having ball practice it seems like Tuesday has been my day of the week to fish so I 'm in.

I bumped into Haden the other evening and he told me you guys were going to do this. emoThumbsup I am very happy to see some of the young guns stepping up to the plate to carry this on. emoApplause This year with the CBA officer duties and fishing the CFFs I felt I would be stretched thin. I had hoped someone would do these. I will be fishing some too. emoDance Way to go guys! emoWorthy Jmax

(Now if we can only figure out how to keep Treeman from winning over half of them. emoPoke )

emoUpsmile I was hoping somebody would take over these tournaments. I hope Danny will be able to fish them with me. emoWorthy emoToast

We have decided to change the payout to 1 place for every 10 boats. this will be the same payout as in the past. However, in the past, there have been two big fish payouts after 20 boats. We have decided to do away with this and only pay one big fish. This will allow a bigger big fish pot. For example, if we were to have say 18 boats in this first event, 1st place will recieve $250, 2nd place will recieve $110, and big fish will pay $90 (assuming all 18 boats paid their $5 for big fish pot). Everyone on Tuesday night will be required to fill out a new-membership/liability form. We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday evening!
