New year's resolution/invitation 12-30-07

I have been remiss in getting everyone out fishing who has asked, and my first New Year's resolution is to correct that. (My second is to win the lottery. I figure the likelyhood is about the same as keeping most other resolutions). Here is the current list (in no particular order), and anyone I have missed be sure to let me know!

I hope and expect that this list will grow. If you'd like to get on the list and take your chances in the EricM lottery, just PM me and I'll get out with you, although it may take some time. It may be hard to schedule for some of you, but we'll work it out. Just let me know when the best times are for you, what species you'd like to try for, and if you just want to get out and catch fish or if you are interested in only big fish, etc.
Please understand, I still have many who I will fish with regularly and I go alone many times, especially when I am using light line and may fight a fish for hours. There is no insult intended on those days that I choose to go alone or with someone else. I would just like to get out and meet many of you during the year if I can. And PMing me to let me know that your schedule is coming open (or you'll be in town, etc) is encouraged - it makes it easier to get out with everyone.
Oh, and by the way, I also accept invitations to go fishing with you too! Any species, any (legal) method, most any time.

I too am like Eric in that there are some that I will fish with a lot and I do like to go alone when I want to try something that might not work. I will go with you also if I get an invite.

I know that there was someone else that I told that I would crappie fish with, but for the life of me right now, I can't remember it. Let me know.

Eric, we'll get out in the spring... I asked if you wanted to go bassin at the Nuke with threadfins. That was in the Spring when you and DHaun were doing that. </p>

My friend Shane and I tried throwing large shiners at the Nuke one night. Had several hits. Almost pulled one in but the fish came loose. (Fishing wasn't to great) This was the night that he had to break a large fish off when a storm was heading our way. </p>

Anyways, I would love to get out there with you and go fishing or... catching!

I know that you would be able to show me many new things, and I would love that!</p>

Popper, since I've tolerated the likes of Cheez, Spurhunter, and even 2jigs (amoung others too numerous to mention), I'm sure you won't be a problem (especially when you see how far the swim back to the ramp would be). You're on the list! Also Fishin Fool, who had expressed an interest way back and I never wrote down. As for those who have already fished with me, you're all welcome back (so far)! I just don't manage to invite folks very well without an occasional nudge to remind me that you're interested. PMing me to say "Hey, when are we going, I'm available this Thursday and Friday" is not rude or pushy, it's just knocking the rust off of my brain gears and lets me know that some people really do want to fish with me!
