Hi.
I moved to TN from Colorado in June of 2006. I moved here because of (in this order) the fishing opportunities and a job opportunity.
I've been fishing since I was 5 growing up on the east and west coasts, since my Dad was in the Navy. I just love it here in TN!!!
I like to bass fish and I'm addicted to saltwater fishing (tuna, wahoo, dorado (mahi-mahi)). Well OK anything that swims.
I am very lucky to have a boat. It is a Ranger Z21 Comanche.
While not an expert bass fisherman by any means, I really enjoy learning how to put myself on fish and trying to figure out how to do some catching. I am not what you would call a tournament fisherman, but it is pretty cool that there are so many opportunities to fish competitively in our neck of the woods. I consider Chickamauga my home lake, in fact that is the only place I've fished since coming to TN.
I cannot over emphasize how good you long time residents have it here, growing up in this great Tennessee Valley area. This area is a real gem!
Tight lines everybody!

I like Fishin Fool's prayer.

Here is something I have carried in my wallet since I’ve had a wallet.

The Lord made the earth two thirds water and one third land with the idea in mind that man spend two thirds of his time at sea fishing and one third of his time on land working.

Sounds good to me!

emoWelcome from the Drumking. Love the quote. Trying to make it my MO. Since I'm retired, I'm getting close to the 2/3rds part. emoBigsmile emoGeezer

I know you are only saying that because it is true.  Welcome to CFF</p>

You're right! We are blessed here in the Chattanooga with so many good lakes, like the Chick and the Nick. How bout Guntersville, Weiss and Neely Henry, Percy Priest, Dale Hollow, TN and GA mountain streams? All are close to us. Not to mention the Gulf on Mexico and Atlantic Ocean and their back bays are just a few hours away.
