Fished out of Chester Frost Park this morning, hooked up with five and had five short strikes. Two were keepers, one about 5 pounds and one about 2 1/2 pounds, and the others were almost as much fun as the keepers. Thats not true the 5 lber was a whole lot more fun. All fish were caught on top water, I love the top water bite. I am going to have to carry a camera all the time so i can get pics when i have a day like today..emoBigsmile

What type of area were you fishing? Shallows, Flats, Drop-offs, etc..? What type of lure, presentation, etc.? Sounds like I need to fish more top water...

Have a great day!

Did you fish mostly back in Chester Frost or did you get out on the main lake? Is there much grass back in Chester Frost? I haven't been back there for a couple of years.

Dang! How did you get a top water bite going in all that wind? I fished the area up above Chester Frost and managed 5 but the wind was really whipping along pretty good. Did you find a sheltered area there? A 5 pounder is pretty dog gone good!
