i have been wanting a windshield(sport screen) for my 89 bullet so i would have somewhere to put one of those
nice looking DJW stickers on my bullet (rob?.... oh rangerrob ??) .
i called nichols marine to see if they had any in stock. well after i told him what i had and what i wanted ( i wish i could
remember who i talked to) he told me the only sport screen that they make wouldn't fit my bullet just right. he
said it could be rigged up to work but in his opinion they just didn't look right and that i should call bullet to see if
they still had some old stock that would work. now he could have said any number of things and i would have bought
that $110 windshield but he passed on a sale and pointed me in another direction to find the exact thing i needed for
my boat, and didn't sell me something that would have kinda worked.
this may seem kind of minor to some folks and its hard to put all of the details of the conversation here but
the level of customer service i experienced from this one call is enough to say i WILL be a customer of nichols marine
for any of my future boating needs.

after that i did call bullet and the folks i talked to there were just as outstanding. i told them what i was looking
for. well they never made a full screen for the older bullets but they did have some deflector style pieces that
are just for my year model and they were only $50. i had told him this was my first bullet and while he was looking to make sure he had the part he was asking how i liked it what i liked about and so on and even gave me lots of good
tips for getting it balanced out to run better. again i cant put down a lot of the details but these are 2 of the best
customer service dealings that i have had in a looooooong time.

this kind of service deserves to be recognized, talked about and rewarded
nichols customer for life
bullet owner for life

I just bought my new boat motor from Nichols Marine and Scott Schoolfield was AAAA+++ in being helpful. He went out of his way to be informative about the motor and explained all the costs with none of those hidden charges popping up. They had the best price and I called no less than six dealers for quotes. When he went out to check the serial numbers on the motor he came back to his office and looked it up on his computer. He did some calculating and told me that the price would be $100 less than what he had quoted because they had purchased some of those motors for less than normal. He did not have to do that and I would not have been any wiser as I was going by the price he had quoted me earlier. They did an excellent and professionall installation. He treated me as if we were old friends. Hard to find this kind of service any more.

i did forget to mention that when i called bullet a real live person answered the phone !! not some push 1 for this, push 2 for that system. been a long time since I've called a company and had that happen. put me straight through to the right person to talk to the first time emoThumbsup

no bullet never made a full size for the 89 model and think that applies to 90 on back. they do have a few different
sizes of the deflector style 7" 9" and 11" i think i ordered the 11" but you have to call bullet to get them as they no longer catalog those

as promised i received the windshield for my bullet today and was able to get it installed after a quick call to Tom
at bullet to make sure i put it in the right place. (4" from the top edge of the console)
2jigs and bass15 here are the pics so you can decide if you want one. this is the 11" smoke model

You got one brother! If you'd bought a &%#$ Ranger it would've come with bug screens ... free. You know I gotta do that to keep my reputation up with Snuffy and ranman! emoLaugh emoLaugh

I have to agree, Nichols is where I bought my merc 200. They let me bring my Bro-in-law down to take the heads off the motor and check the ring keeper pins. I brought my own head gaskets and said if I did not want the motor, I would put them back on. Well the motor was in great condition, and they had great service. I would recommend Nichols to anyone buying a boat
