Talk about quick service, I dropped my boat off there late Thursday afternoon and have already received the call to come pick her up!! I don't know who I talked to originally when I dropped my boat off, but he had an office and was very friendly and helpful, he said the "turnaround" was 7-10 days and it's only been 3 official business days. That's a great way to keep my business!! If I can get some cash saved up, that may be where I begin my search for my next boat.emoApplause emoApplause emoApplause emoThanks

Sounds pretty good for the Chattanooga area but C and O in White Bluff, TN usually fixes it while you wait so you can take it home the same day. Two weeks ago my lower unit locked up. I called them on tuesday morning, they told me to be there at 1:30 that day, and I left at 4:30 with a brand new lower unit and a checked out motor. That's service!

I feel your pain, literaly. I still do not have my boat back. Maybe we can form a support group for bank fisherman who have boats but cannot use them.emoBawl

Yea, I saw your boat when I was at fish and fun yesterday. I still have mine, and the trolling motor works great so if I get really desperate I'll take it out. Still sucks pretty badly though!!!emoBooHoo

340 miles round trip and $80 to $90 in gas and a whole day of driving? Every time you need service?

I can add a testimony to Nichols Marine....THEY HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY GOOD TO ME!!!! When I needed a new engine for my boat Scott quoted me the best price in the tri state area. When I got up there to get the old engine and controls removed and the new one installed he dropped the quoted price. They had my boat ready the next day. A couple of months after I got it a lady rear ended me hitting my boat engine. It bent the prop and I was worried about internal damage. I carried it up there and they installed a new prop right there on the spot, checked the shaft alignment and told me what to look for when I took it out for a test run. I highly recomend them.

Just go to Wal-mart and buy one their Marine cranking batteries. Save yourself a ton of money and they last forever, with a warranty.
