I had a guide trip yesterday and I took Bill Aries and his two daughters from Florida yesterday afternoon for an evening trip on the Tennessee river. They are up here on Fall break and decided they wanted to fish. And fish they did. TVA had every other flood gate open and the turbins wide open. I figure TVA must be doing the winter draw down for Chickamauga. We made a few drifts for Rock fish and did not catch any and the flood gates made me a little nervous especially with clients that were not use to the rough water so we went down river and hit a few of my old reliable spots. Katelynn scored first with a smallmouth and not to be out done by her sister Whitney caught a spotted bass. Dad I think had the largest fish of the evening. But we got on the fish really good the last hour and a nice mix of fish. They caught smallmouth, largemouth, spotted bass, rockfish, cherokee, catfish and a shad. All fish were caught freelining live bait. Here's a few of the fish they caught.
