I was on my way to my duck blind this morning in my boat. Around 5:00 and I have a 12Ft jon boat I use for duck hunting and all it has is a trolling motor. So I was just cruising on along in around 15Ft of water when all of a sudden I must have hit a long under water or somethin and I hear a loud boom and felt something hit me in the back I thought I had been shot honostly lol. Well i turned around to see what it was and i look and i have no trolling motor and im doing donuts in the water. After about 5 mins of wrestling with this trolling motor I finally manage to pull in back up to the boat and shut it off. When i pulled it up I looked to seewhat was wrong and I noticed the mounting bracket was broke in half. It had popped of and hit me in the back so needless to say I had to stick the trolling motor on the side of the boat and hold it by hand to get back to the boat ramp. But after all was said and done My back is fine and I get to save my shells for next year. Hope everyone had a better last day of the season than me!
