Nick Bass 7-7-2006

Went to Nick yesterday and fished the grass. Caught several small fish on a buzz around Bennet lake and mullins cove early. Pitched the outside of the grass when the sun came up with a worm and caught 5 keepers biggest around 2.5 lbs. The fish were busting shad on the outside of the grass but could never get to them fast enough to cash in. I still haven't figured out how to fish the grass as well as most people. Spoke with others at the ramp and they caught a lot more fish than I doing the same thing.
