Chris and I hit the water around 9:00am. About the 3rd cast with a jerkbait, i landed a 14"LM. I thought we might be onto something, but that was the only jerkbait fish of the day. We finally moved and i immediately caught a nice keeper on a lipless crank, made another pass and Chris got an even better fish and let another nice fish pull off. That was it on the trap. The wind got up and we hit a windblown rip-rap bank. I missed several fish that hit a t-rigged sweet beaver, and had a real nice LM throw the bait at the boat. Before leaving Chris caught another short fat LM on a grub near the ramp. Water temps ranged from 45-49, and all fish were in 8' or less.

Glad you al got some fish Jstin. They must have realy been fiered up to be jumping & throwing your bait in 49deg. water, man. I was waiting to see that 6-7 lber.emoThumbsup. I know ya your saving him for the $$$$$, right?

The fish we did hook fought like the water was 70 degrees. The bass are just meaner down there this time of year, but judging by your post, we where on the wrong impoundment.
