Finally had the opportunity today...
Only had two bites. Not that great, I suppose, except that the first one was between 5 and 6 lbs (no reliable scale). Fish was a solid 20 inches. She came from about 19 feet of water off the main channel on a 5inch black/blue flake smoke colored Yamamoto grub, vertically jigged a few inches off the bottom.
Fish two was about 1 1/2 lbs, on a big white glass Husky Jerk, jerked erratically in about 6 feet of water over dead grass.
I have some things to do tomorrow, but I'll be out there again Saturday if it's possible...
