Put in at Bennett Lake, went up-river. Found bass schooling on deep points & drop-offs out in the main river channel in 15-20ft. Also found spawning bass in shallow sloughs and coves. All in all, was a good day with about 40 fish boated, and just as many that came unbuttoned boat-side. Most were slow bites, caught on plastics. Very few aggressive bites. Barometric pressure was up and down all day, the better fish were caught on a droppping barometer.
