Nickajack 4-5-06

Went to Nickajack yesterday. Fished from about 4 till 8:15. Put in at sullivans and ended up with 10 fish, 1 keeper (2.8lb). Got on one spot where we caught 5 or 6 in a 20 min. time frame. All were short but it was alot of fun catching them that fast, we had doubles too. I set the hook at the same time as my dad. Once we landed the fish we had to see which one was bigger, but they were twins. Alot of fun. As someone else on this site would say (Jmax) emoPoke All fish were caught between Nickajack Dam and Chickamauga Dam, caught all on hooks, in the water, and in the mouth. For those of you fishing CFF4 you will find out what lure i was using at the weigh in. You know the place where you will give ME you entry fee emoBigsmile

Good one Skeeter, keep it to yourself and mybe he won't guess right. There's still a week and a day for him to weasle the info. Make him sweat a little. I wish that I could be there to watch the weigh in, it will be fun. Hopefully lots of big fish.

Flip when I was up there last week the grass out in the main lake was just starting to come back. I hung the old strans and pulled some of it up several times. You could see the small shoots of green just starting to bud out on the stuff. Now back in the shallow areas there was some grass but to me it did not seem like very much.emoCool jmax
