We put in at Sulivans around 6:30 this morning, after we got the boat in the water my son (little Ike) wanted to fish the grass line below the ramp so we did.About 100 yards down the line we started catching fish on white buzzbaits fished over the grass clumps that are just under the surface.We kept going down the bank and I hung a big fish on the buzzer,or should I say the fish hung me cause about half way to the boat while I was trying to keep him down he decides he wants to do his sea to air missile stunt, this fish came about 2 feet out of the water and slung the bait and that was that.
We ran up river and started fishing some deeper areas as the morning warmed up but couldn't find any takers.We loaded the boat at 11:30 and caught a total of 17 fish, nothing of any size but man we really enjoyed just getting the chance to go.Thanks guys for the info you all gave me, maybe this will help someone else out.
