Nickajack 7-3

Got out on Nickajack Monday afternoon. Fished from 4:00 to about 7:30 around Moccasin Bend. Caught 8 Largemouth…all on a 10” Watermelon Red worm. The picture was the first fish…a 4-11 Largemouth that came out of a blow down on the river channel.

Met my wife at the ramp with supper (BBQ) and we rode back to moccasin bend and watched the fireworks at Coolidge and Bellsouth Parks. A lost of fun for a weekday afternoon.

Nice fish J-J! I haven't been catching big fish but small ones that seem to be suspended over drops or rocky humps. I guess that I need to get out my flippin' stick more often. This time of year can be great to be on the water. I would say that I saw about 8 different fireworks displays in the past two days all fishing from the Harrison Bay area, it has been really great.
