Didnt plan on going fishing this morning, but woke up early and thought "What the heck". I called Gray Bomber and woke him up and told him to get ready i am on my way over. Had planned on fishing below the Nickajack Dam cause i never had. Also thought about fishing the grass in Running water too. Picked up GB and he had the idea if we want to fish new areas lets go to Lookout Creek. Put in at Racoon Mtn. and went to Lookout Creek Fished from the mouth to WAY past the Cummings Hwy. brige. I caught 1 short fish on a Buzz Bait in 8 ft of water while trying to undo a birds nest. He caught 1 keeper on a Ribber Frog on some thin grass. We both missed 1 fish and that was pretty much all that happened all day.
I never knew how long that creek is. We trolled in 2 miles and still wasent at the end according to my GPS. We got around Wahatchie Pike and the creek kept going and still about 10-14ft deep. Anyone ever go to the end?
